In the three weeks of this month, with 14 working days, the trade surplus was US$ 1.557 billion, with exports of US$ 12.299 billion (daily average of US$ 878.5 million) and imports of US$ 10.742 billion (average of US$ 767.3 million per working day).
From January to the third week of this month, with 35 working days, the trade surplus reached US$ 1.980 billion, against US$ 556 million in equal period in 2010. In the accumulated result up to last week, exports reached US$ 27.513 billion (average of US$ 786.1 million per working day) and imports reached US$ 25.533 billion (daily average of US$ 729.5 million).
