São Paulo – The Brazilian trade balance recorded a US$ 496 million surplus, at a daily average of US$ 99.2 million, during the five working days of the second week of the month. According to data disclosed today (17th) by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, bilateral trade reached US$ 7.27 billion.
Brazilian exports reached US$ 3.883 billion during the period, at a daily average of US$ 776.6 million. Imports reached US$ 3.387 billion, at a daily average of US$ 677.4 million.
In the ten working days so far this month, foreign sales totalled US$ 6.664 billion. Imports reached US$ 6.654 billion during the period. The trade surplus so far in January is US$ 10 million.
