Meet Rogério Ferreira da Silva, Brazilian Indian and doctor in agronomy
One of the first Brazilian indigenous people with a doctorate degree in the country, he believes in studying as a tool to improve the quality of life of his people. Rogério, who was born in Aldeia Cachoeirinha, in the midwestern Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul, overcame a series of difficulties to be able to study and has even been the secretary of agriculture in the city of Tanguá, in Rio de Janeiro.
