Arab Chamber creates women's committee

This Monday (13) in your ANBA Bulletin (13): a story on the creation of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce's women's committee. The new group will work to build rapport between Arab and Brazilian women. It will host a webinar on the Low Touch Economy, featuring businesswomen from Brazil, Egypt and Saudi Arabia next Wednesday (15).

Brazil's brand new publishing house Editora Tabla specializes in books and authors from the Middle East and North Africa, particularly from Arab countries. ANBA's Bruna Garcia discussed the recently launched publisher and Arab culture with cofounder Laura di Pietro.

A documentary series traces back the history of food in Brazil, bridging the gap between falafel, the Arab dumpling, and acarajé, a traditional dish from Bahia.

President Jair Bolsonaro made a phone call to the Abu Dhabi heir prince. They discussed bilateral relations and mutually relevant domestic and international issues. They also went over the Covid-19 pandemic. Bolsonaro thanked the UAE for its PPE donation.

And Emirates said it will resume Dubai-São Paulo flights on August 2. Check out these and other articles below and enjoy your reading!
