This Wednesday (7) in your ANBA Bulletin: Brazil's cosmetics manufacturer O Boticário is opening its second outlet in the United Arab Emirates. The point of sale is set to go into business in January 2019 at Dubai Mall, one of the world's biggest malls. “We were really surprised. It was the country where it took me the least time to open a business,” International Expansion executive Andrea Gutierrez told ANBA's Thais Sousa. The brand's first UAE store opened this year in Dubai.
And Brazil's National Confederation of Industry (CNI) signed a letter of intent with the Embassy of the UAE in Brazil this week during a business event in São Paulo. The parties pledged to “continually champion an agenda of strategic priorities for the two countries with their governments,” CNI Industrial Development director Carlos Eduardo Abijaodi said.
