São Paulo – The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce stand in the business trade fair APAS Show 2019 won the award Stand APAS Show by Popai 2019 in the category Best International Stand. The ceremony occurred this Wednesday (8).
This is a new category in the event to celebrate the internationalization of show. The stands were evaluated according to criteria of design and architecture, reverse logistics, visual communication, promotional action, and product exhibition. The second place was for the New Zealand Consulate stand.
The cube-shaped golden trophy was presented by APAS directors Pedro Lopes Brandão, Bruno Kawakami e Marcelo Nicolucci and corporate manager Rodrigo Mariano.
Receiving the trophy were the Arab Brazilian Chamber director William Atui, marketing director Janine de Menezes, events coordinator Tâmara Machado, and events analyst Laura Bianchim. New Zealand Consulate representatives received a plate.
“We are extremely proud. We have participated in APAS for five years aiming to bring the Arab countries closer to the Brazilian market, because Brazil is very friendly to the Arabs and it is a great honor for the Chamber to have received this award, which indicates to our partners and staff that our job is yielding results, and they [the Arab countries] will see this award, which belongs to us all,” said William Atui.
This is the second award the Arab Brazilian Chamber receives for its stands in APAS Show. The first one was the Business Generation award in 2017.
“It is a great pleasure to receive this award because it is an achievement for us in the Arab Brazilian Chamber and a recognition of the work we develop and the concept we wanted to bring to this event,” said Janine Menezes.

Best Sustainable Stand winners were Ypê, Korin Agropecuária, Açúcar Guarani and Ecoart. A full list of winners is available on the event’s website.
Best International Stand was the last category announced. Apas superintendent Carlos Correa said “the fact that the Arab Chamber won this award is an honor, first of all because of the existing relations, the fact that many supermarket industry businesspeople are Arab descendants, and because it lets us know that we can build even closer business ties.
Aldo Cappucci Filho, a partner director at Agência Wiyn Comunicação e Design, which designed the Arab Chamber stand, won two awards this morning: he was also responsible for the Korin Agropecuária stand. His agency has won over ten awards.
The 35th Apas Show ends on Thursday (9).
