São Paulo – CFI Financial Group announced on Thursday (30) that it has obtained a license from the Central Bank of Brazil to operate as a securities brokerage in the country. Through its operations, it will be able to offer access to investment instruments such as equities and fixed-income securities and operate in the capital markets, including São Paulo’s stock exchange, B3.
In a statement, CFI said it will operate locally within a clear regulatory framework in one of the most established financial markets in Latin America. “Brazil’s investor base continues to evolve, with growing demand for greater market access and more diversified opportunities across different asset classes,” the institution said.
CFI was founded in the late 1990s in Beirut, Lebanon. It later expanded to Cyprus to operate in the European market, and in 2017, to Amman, Jordan, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to attract clients and business in the Arab market, now one of its largest markets.
