Brazil conquers Arab sugar market after reduction of EU sales
The WTO has limited the exports of the European bloc, which basically exported refined sugar to the Middle East and Northern Africa. Now, according to International Sugar Organization economist Leonardo Rocha, some of these countries are investing in refineries and importing more raw sugar from Brazil.
