The Middle Eastern representative of the Castle chemical product manufacturing company, Fred Shammas, is interested in introducing ethanol into the Arab country. He visited the Arab Brazilian Chamber stand in the Damascus International Fair seeking further information about the product.

The Tunisian businessman Hassen Sassi closed his first deal with the country last week. He placed an order for two containers of products from OEM, a trading company that works in the field. The contact was made after the Arab Brazilian Chamber supplied him with a list of potential exporters.

The event is turned to micro and small companies. The businessmen will be informed about all of the steps in the export process, including potential markets. The Arab Brazilian Chamber will hold a panel on the Arab countries.

The Miolo Wine Group started exporting its wines in 2003. Now, after establishing partnerships with foreign wineries and hiring renowned oenologists, the group has increased its foreign sales, and is already even present in the United Arab Emirates. Exports of 560,000 bottles are expected for this year.
