São Paulo – Jordan’s tourism revenue rose 24.9% in July from the same month last year, reaching USD 926.2 million, according to data from the Central Bank of Jordan released Tuesday (18) and reported by state news agency Petra. Year to date, sector revenue is 0.2% below the 2025 level, totaling USD 4.418 billion.
In the first seven months of 2026, tourism spending by Jordanians living abroad fell 8.9%, while spending by Europeans declined 24.7% and by North Americans, 20.6%. Spending by non-Jordanian Arabs rose 12.8%, while spending by Asians increased 3.9%.
July’s performance showed a recovery compared with previous months. During the month, Jordanians visiting the country spent USD 248.1 million, up 0.3% from July 2025.
