Lotas For Industry, which sells and assembles showerheads and water filters made by companies in Brazil, wants to find new small and medium companies from the country interested in having an assembly line in Egypt. The factory, which is located in Sixth of October City, close to Cairo, covers an area of 1,200 square metres.

Starting today, Project Qatar and Tripoli International Fair will count on the participation of the Arab Brazilian Chamber and three Brazilian companies. The event in Libya includes various sectors and goes on up to April 12. The fair in Qatar, in turn, is in the construction sector and goes on up to Thursday. The Public Investment Fund of the Saudi Ministry of Finance is going to cover the construction cost for the North-South Railway in the Arab country. The project will have 2,400 kilometres of extension, and will transport both cargo and passengers. The Arab Brazilian Chamber and the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex) will promote next Thursday (29) a meeting to speak to Brazilian businessmen about the markets in Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia. The organisations are preparing a mission to those three countries towards the end of May and beginning of June. The meeting will be held at the Arab Chamber Space, in São Paulo.
The idea arose during a visit by a delegation of Sudanese businessmen to the city of São Paulo last week. The objective is to promote the products made in the Arab country in Brazil and simplify contacts between companies from both countries. The delegation visited the Arab Brazilian Chamber on Friday.

Egypt is the second greatest buyer of cattle beef of Brazil, and producers want to maintain their share of the local market. Brasfoods, in turn, forecasts closing over US$ 400,000 in business at the fair.
Brasfoods and Brazilian Pepper Trade, in the food sector, closed orders for spices in the first day of Cairo International Fair. The stand of the Arab Brazilian Chamber at the fair was also greatly sought by people interested in importing meats, coffee, sugar, agricultural equipment and wood from Brazil.
Ahmed Nazif and the Egyptian ministers of Trade and Industry, Rachid Mohamed Rachid, and of Petroleum, Sameh Fahmi, participated yesterday in the opening of the 40th edition of Cairo International Fair. The mulstisectorial event, to be opened today, includes the presence of Brazilian companies and an Arab Brazilian Chamber stand.
Both organizations are planning six joint events abroad this year, including three trade missions. One of them will be to the North of Africa, including Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt. To the president at the Chamber, Antonio Sarkis Jr., the cooperation has favoured business with the Arab world.
