The veterinary surgeon Eduardo Antunes Dias moved to the Arab country ten months ago to work for an institute that develops research on the tahr, a kind of wild goat from the region. The mission faced by Dias, who works with researchers from another six countries, is to ensure the future of these animals, which are threatened with extinction.
