São Paulo – São Paulo city hall issued this Wednesday (28) the concession notice for the modernization, management, operation and maintenance of the Pacaembu Complex. Besides the County Stadium Paulo Machado de Carvalho, the winner will also manage the annex Sports Center for 35 years.
According to city hall’s website, the minimum investment established is of BRL 12.4 million (USD 3.82 million) and the winning company or consortium the one with the highest bidding. Last year, Pacaembu generated BRL 2.5 million (USD 770,000) in revenues.
The concession notice will be published Thursday (29) at the city’s Official Gazette and will be subject to public consultation in 20 days – suggestions received in the period could alter the text. The publication of the final text is set for April 24.
