São Paulo – Monday (27) was dedicated to researchers in the halal field, who shared their findings and discoveries with the public. Running parallel to the Global Halal Brazil (GHB) Business Forum, the Halal Technical-Scientific Congress took place at the WTC Events Center in São Paulo, where the forum is also being held. Both events continue on Tuesday (28), with the GHB in the morning and the congress in the afternoon.
According to information from the International Halal Academy (IHA), which organizes the congress, 12 papers were presented orally. The CTecHalal 2025 received 44 research studies, some of which were presented, and 15 received honorable mentions. All selected works will be awarded at the end of the event.
The congress was conceived by the IHA, a strategic partner of the FAMBRAS Halal Certifier, which organizes the GHB together with the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC). During the congress, the academy signed memorandums of understanding with the College of International Transport and Logistics of Alexandria, in Egypt, with the Global Halal Academy of Saudi Arabia, and with Brazil’s Estácio University. The event also featured the introduction of the IHA Committee of Notables, composed of distinguished figures recognized for their contributions.
