São Paulo – The emirate of Dubai invites foreigners who want to live in the country to participate in an exclusive program for those who work online. The project allows professionals to work remotely in foreign institutions and companies while living in the country.
According to the government program, one of the most attractive topics is that as a resident of the United Arab Emirates, the worker will become eligible to receive vaccination against COVID-19. Another benefit, according to information by the Dubai government, is the zero income tax for individuals.
The opportunity is being offered since October last year. “The global pandemic has changed how we live and work. As multinationals and leading start-ups across the world accelerate their rates of digital adoption, the need to be physically present to fulfill professional responsibilities has been redefined,” said, in a statement, the director-general of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism), Helal Saeed Almarri.
