Rio de Janeiro – The Producer Price Index (IPP) ended November with a 0.78% hike, 0.69 percentage points above the one in October, when it had gone up 0.09%, according to data made available this Friday (6) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) in Rio de Janeiro.
Factory-gate inflation was practically stable from January to November, with a slight increase of 0.04%. Year-over-year, the IPP went up 0.05% – the index measures the price of goods before taxes and transportation, from 23 sectors of the processing and extractive industries.
