São Paulo – Intermediate fertilizer imports to Brazil were down 8.5% in May and 11.5% year-to-date through May from year-ago periods, the National Fertilizer Association (ANDA) reported.
Last month saw 1.8 million tons of fertilizers imported to Brazil, with 8,2 million tons imported from January to May. Total deliveries of fertilizers also dropped, as did domestic production, exports from Brazil, and stockpiles.
