Brasília – The dollar inflow and outflow in Brazil is negative this month. According to partial data released by the Central Bank (BC), until Friday (12) the dollar outflow overcame the inflow in US$ 2.412 billion.
Most of the negative balance comes from the financial segment (investments in securities, remittances abroad of profit and dividends and foreign direct investments, among other operations), com with the outflow exceeding the inflow in US$ 3.552 billion, informed the monetary authority.
The commercial sector (foreign exchange operations related to exports and imports) recorded a positive balance of US$ 1.14 billion.
