Rio de Janeiro – Brazilian industrial production was up 0.2% in November from October 2017, as per the Monthly Industrial Survey released this Friday (5) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). This was the third month-on-month increase, with growth reaching 0.9% over three months.
Brazil’s industrial production was also up year-on-year in November, by 4.7%, year-to-date through November, by 2.3%, and in the 12 months through November, by 2.2%.
In November from October, output went up for intermediate goods (1.4%) and durable consumer goods (2.5%_. Capital goods output remained flat, with semi- and non-durable consumer goods dropping 1.6%.
