São Paulo – This Wednesday (14), in the Brazilian capital Brasilia, the National Forum of the Gem and Jewel Productive Chain will be instituted. The Forum will be a space for discussions between the government and the private sector, regarding the generation of jobs, regional development, social inclusion and technological capacitation.
It will be the first Forum instituted by the Brazilian Federal Government in 2004. Last year, 13 forums were created for other productive chains. The Brazilian gems and precious metals sector is basically made up of small businesses – 93%. The information was provided by the Sebrae News Agency.
