The shoe fair in German will be attended by buyers from the world over, including the Middle East. A group of 21 Brazilian companies will exhibit at the fair, which is due to start next Wednesday.

Sales from Brazil to the Arab world totalled US$ 970.5 million over the last month. In the first two months, they grew 1.86%, with greater shipments of meats and sugar, but with less ore and grain.

National Exporter Culture Plan, aimed at micro and small businesses, enters into force in April. It aims to increase the number of exporters in the segment by 10% to 15% a year, starting in 2013.

This year, 157.5 million tonnes of grain, leguminous and oleaginous plants should be harvested in Brazil, a figure 1.5% higher than in 2011, according to the Institute of Geography and Statistics.
