Mercosur exports reach US$ 135.6 billion in 2004
Total exports by Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay were the greatest ever reached since the formation of the bloc in 1991. The trade result between the four countries was also historic: US$ 17 billion. According to the Mercosur Secretariat director, Reginaldo Braga Arcuri, the bloc managed to take advantage of a moment of macroeconomic stabilization.
