The mobile unit, created through a partnership between the Ministry of National Integration and Sebrae, will cater to producers in the municipalities of the Cariri Cearense region, located at the mesoregion of Chapada do Araripe, which includes 103 municipalities in the northeastern states of Piauí, Ceará and Pernambuco.
According to the press office of the Ministry of National Integration, the objective of the project is to promote the diffusion of technology, to provide technical assistance to rural producers, and to provide sanitation control for the herd of caprines and ovines in the region. Technical support for catering to the herds will be provided by Sebrae.
The Bodemóvel will be equipped with a microscope, a precision scale, a stove and a centrifuge, allowing for the assembly of a serum bank for pest control and application of reproduction techniques.
