São Paulo – Lebanons newly appointed general consul in São Paulo, Rudy El Azzi (pictured, in the middle), met this Tuesday (22) the leadership of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. The group welcomed the consul, who took his position in April, and talked to him about Brazil-Lebanon relations. The meeting took place at the Lebanon consulate in São Paulo.
According to the Arab Chamber’s president, Rubens Hannun, they discussed possible joint actions between the consulate and the Arab Chamber. Rudy El Azzi was also invited to visit the Arab Chamber, which is operating out of a new headquarters that opened in April of last year and is located at Edifício Santa Catarina, Paulista Avenue.
In addition to Hannun, also attending the meeting at the consulate were the Arab Chamber’s treasurer, Nahid Chicani, vice president of Management, Adel Auada, vice president of International Affairs, Osmar Chohfi, vice president of Marketing, Riad Younes, and CEO, Michel Alaby.
