Rio de Janeiro – Petrobras launched oil and gas production operations this Wednesday (17) in the Lula Sul area, located in the pre-salt layer of the Santos Basin, with the submersible floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel P-66. The state-run Brazilian company said the move is in line with its 2017-2021 Business and Management Plan.
Located some 290 km off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, at a depth of 2,150 meters, P-66 can process 150,000 barrels of oil per day and compress 6 million cubic meters of natural gas per day.
