Rio de Janeiro – The pre-salt’s output ended September totaling approximately 1.677 million daily barrels of oil equivalent (oil and natural gas). It’s a 6.6% increase in volume over the previous month and already accounts for 49.8% of all oil equivalent produced in the country.
The data was made public this Wednesday (1) by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP). The output came from 82 wells, reaching 1.351 million of oil barrels and 52 million of daily cubic meters of natural gas.
In September, output reached in total near 3.279 million daily barrels of oil and natural gas. Oil output reached 2.653 million of daily barrels (bbl/d), a volume 3% higher than August’s output, but 0.7% below of the output of September of last year.
