São Paulo – The former president of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC), Rubens Hannun, launched his book Brasil e mundo árabe: Negócios, marketing e diplomacia econômica ampliada [Brazil and the Arab world: Business, marketing, and expanded economic diplomacy] on Monday morning (27), during the first day of the Global Halal Brazil Business Forum, an event that showcases and discusses opportunities in the halal products market, with halal meaning fit for Muslim consumption. On the occasion, Hannun presented a copy of the book to the Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Chambers, Khaled Hanafy. The launch in São Paulo was attended by supporters who contributed to the book, including the Vice President of FAMBRAS Halal Certifier, Ali Hussein El Zoghbi, the Administrative Vice President of the ABCC, Daniel Hannun, and the Director of H2R Insights, Alessandra Frisso.
The forum is organized by the ABCC and FAMBRAS Halal Certifier.
