Rio de Janeiro – Nominal services sector revenues were up 6.4% year-on-year in September, as per the Monthly Services Survey released this Tuesday (18th) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). The rate is higher than July’s 4.6% and August’s 4.5%.
Services sector revenues are up 7.1% in the 12-month period ended September and up 6.6% year-to-date through September. The sharpest increase in September was in professional, administrative and complementary services, up 11.1%. Information and communication services revenues were up 2.7%.
