Last month saw 3.68 million bags shipped from Brazil. Revenues slid by 1% to USD 485 million. Year-to-date, the volume shipped to Arab countries was up 15%.

The coffee produced by Daterra farm, in the Cerrado Mineiro region, was used by Swiss barista Emi Fukahori, who won the competition held in Belo Horizonte.
Sara Alali was crowned the vice-champion of Turkish coffee in the Middle East and North Africa in 2016 and, in 2017, she was a world finalist of the category, in Budapest, reaching the 6th position.

The international leg of the premier coffee competition in the world will take place in Guaxupé, in southern Minas Gerais.
Brazil shipped out 3.4 million bags, a 30% increase over the same month of last year. It’s the largest monthly volume since October 2015.
Brazil exported USD 59 billion worth of goods from January to July, an all-time high for the period.
The first half of the year saw 564,000 60-kg bags of the product shipped to the region. Revenue, however, was down 11.6% to USD 86 million.
The Coffee Run and Walk takes place on August 5, in the Santa Elisa farm, which hosts a coffee experimental center. The event will have dance presentations and serve Arab food. Registrations are open.
