The food industry show ending this Thursday (9) in São Paulo featured an area and a forum focusing on the Islamic market, cementing its status as a source of information for businesses in the sector.

Products from five Arab countries are featured at the Anuga Select Brazil trade show taking place in São Paulo from this Tuesday (7) to Thursday (9). The Arab Chamber is organizing Arab participation, with items including Tunisian olive oils, Lebanese soda, UAE dates.

Brazil’s participation in the Food Africa fair, a trade mission, and an institutional agenda drove its presence in Egypt this December, led by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber. Companies expect USD 53 million in business from the Cairo event.

New fragrance launches from established brands, new players in import and distribution, and more companies entering the segment. The presence of Arab perfumes at the Beauty Fair showed that this market is still booming in Brazil.

The event, taking place in São Paulo in November, already has accredited importers from 21 countries, including Tunisia. The fair is expected to serve as a channel for the industry to diversify markets amid high U.S. tariffs.

Leaders from the Arab-Brazilian Chamber say the moment is favorable for Arab olive oil sales in Brazil due to the tax exemption the country has granted on these products. The institution is supporting the participation of companies from the UAE, Tunisia, and Egypt at the APAS Show 2025.

Brazilian suppliers of animal protein and fertilizer additives, among other products, have joined the Moroccan International Agricultural Exhibition, at a stand organized by the Brazilian ministries of Agriculture and Livestock, and Foreign Affairs.

The Arab country will have a booth and an official delegation at WTM Latin America, which takes place next week in São Paulo. The event will serve as a platform for establishing partnerships in the airline sector, meetings with operators, and cultural activities.
