A mission organized by Brazilian Ministries with support from the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce will visit Kenya, Egypt, and Ethiopia from December 6 to 15. Business meetings and seminars will be an opportunity to showcase Brazilian know-how in producing food, plastics, toys, and cosmetics, among other products.

The Rio Branco Institute is giving a preparatory course to professionals who will work on behalf of Brazilian agribusiness in embassies and missions in Colombia, Egypt, Morocco, the European Union, and Angola. They are expected to take up posts in 2023, most replacing expiring terms.

Paulo Cordeiro de Andrade Pinto and his wife Vera Estrela were killed in a car crash in Italy. The diplomat had a long career with the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was honored by the Arab Chamber in 2014.

The Brazilian Foreign Ministry’s outgoing undersecretary general for Africa and the Middle East, who’s about to take office representing Brazil in the FAO, diplomat Fernando Abreu hails the outlook for triangular cooperation with Arab countries. He was welcomed by Arab Chamber executives this Tuesday.
