Brasília – The Brazilian trade balance registered, in the first week of July, a surplus of US$ 271 million – with export of US$ 699 million and import of US$ 428 million.
With the result, the accumulated surplus in the year has risen to US$ 15.32 billion. Export from January to July 4 reached US$ 44.005 billion, and import reached US$ 28.685 billion.
The complete trade balance result for the period will be available as from 03:00pm, from the Ministry of Development web site (www.desenvolvimento.gov.br).
