São Paulo – Brazil saw a USD 1.902 billion trade surplus in the first week of October, the Brazilian Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services reported this Monday (9). Exports reached USD 5.059 billion, while imports amounted to USD 3.157 billion.
Year-to-date through the first week of October, exports from Brazil amounted to USD 169.663 billion, while imports reached USD 114.485 billion, leading to a USD 55.177 billion surplus.
