Brasília – In the third week of July, the Brazilian balance of trade recorded a surplus of US$ 880 million, the result of US$ 5.395 billion in exports and US$ 4.515 billion in imports. Thus, the accumulated surplus in July rose to US$ 2.751 billion, at a daily average of US$ 250.1 million.
Year-to-date, the accumulated surplus increased to US$ 15.717 billion and the daily average reached US$ 116.4 million, 70.4% more than in the same period of 2010, as informed this Monday (18th) by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
Year-to-date, exports reached US$ 130.603 billion and imports reached US$ 114.886 billion.
