Brasília – The United States is open to discussions about multilateral agreements that also involve agricultural subsidies granted by the American government to its farmers. This is what the president of the US House of Representatives, Dennis Haster, conceded following a meeting with the Minister of Agriculture, Roberto Rodrigues. The meeting lasted around 40 minutes.
He recalled that Brazil is a large country, and, together with the United States, it can make many positive contributions to the world, through dialogue and cooperation.
