São Paulo – Vehicle sales grew 6.6% in October, with the trade of 330.203 units, according to figures disclosed on Wednesday (6) by the National Association of Vehicle Manufacturers (Anfavea). In comparison with October last year, there was 3.3% reduction.
In the accumulated result for the year, there was a 0.7% reduction. From January to October, 3,110,558 units were licensed, while in the same period in 2012 the number of vehicles licensed was 3,130,944.
Vehicle production dropped 2.5% in October, to 323,776 units, as against 332,867 units produced in September. In comparison with October last year, there was growth of 0.5%.
In the accumulated result for the year, the growth has totalled 12.4% in production of new vehicles, totalling 3,165,379 units, as against 2,816,836 produced from January to October 2012.
