Mazagão seeks exchange with Morocco
The mayor of the city in the northern Brazilian state of Amapá, José Carlos de Carvalho, wants to take people in the scientific and cultural area of the city to visit El Jadida, in the Arab country, where the Moroccan Mazagão (Mazagan) was located. The Portuguese population of the Moroccan city was transferred to Brazil in the 18th century after being overrun by the Moors. ANBA publishes the last article in the series about Mazagão today.
