And fruit comes from the semi-arid region of Brazil
Fruit production in Brazil is growing at a fast pace. The area of the Valley of the São Francisco River, in the heart of the Brazilian semi-arid region, between the states of Minas Gerais, Bahia, Sergipe, Alagoas and Pernambuco, is one of the responsible for this growth. To show how the locals produce the fruit, ANBA starts today a series of three special reports on the subject. In the first, the reporter Marco Bahé shows how the fruit growing development program started in the region.
