Brasília – The trade balance surplus of Brazil in November reached US$ 615 million, 62.36% lower than that registered in the same period in 2008 (US$ 1.634 billion), according to a press release disclosed today (1) by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. In November, exports reached US$ 12.653 billion and imports, US$ 12.038 billion.
From January to November, the surplus totals US$ 23.202 billion, with exports of US$ 138.532 billion and imports of US$ 115.330 billion. The trade balance result accumulated up to November this year is 2.5% greater than that registered in the same period in 2008 (US$ 22.644 billion).
