Brasília – There are Brazil 207,660,929 people living in Brazil, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) reported this Wednesday (30) on the Federal Gazette. Last year, IBGE’s annual survey showed a population of 206.08 million.
São Paulo remains the most populous state with 45,940,866 residents, up from 44.75 million last year. Five other states have populations of over 10 million: Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, Rio Grande do Sul and Paraná.
