Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco is offering a non-degree course in International Business Administration with an emphasis in Arab countries starting in August. Arab Brazilian Chamber members will get a discount.

Lebanon’s Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik is offering the third edition of the course, which deals with topics like the Arab Spring and civil war in Syria. Lessons are taught in English and the enrolment deadline is June 2nd.

Exhibition ‘Love letter from Brazil to Iraq’ will feature pictures taken by photographers from both countries to convey messages of peace and love. The show will run from May 12th to June 12th in São Paulo.

Next Saturday at São Paulo’s Syrian Sports Club, Romeu Abílio will launch ‘Memórias minurcas,’ about Arab immigration to the city of Guaxupé, Minas Gerais. He will also deliver a lecture.

The Paraty International Literary Festival will welcome Aboud Saeed, the author of the book ‘The smartest guy on Facebook,’ set for release in Brazil during the event.
