An Institute at University Cândido Mendes is offering an extension course in the language beginning on April 26th. International Relations students are the primary target, but non-students may apply.

The show ‘Mysteries of Ancient Egypt and the Holy Land’ will continue until the 13th this month at shopping center Praça da Moça. The exhibit features 130 items, 70 of which are originals.
A show featuring items from the Egyptian civilization is open at MorumbiShopping up until April 20th. Some of the objects are original and came from the Museum of Cairo.

The South American Festival of Arab Culture will feature over 150 presentations, including dance performances, Arabic calligraphy workshops and exhibitions this year.
To Rafah Barakat, head of the Qatar-Brazil Year of Culture project, the events are an opportunity for people in both countries to know one another better. Brazilian exhibits in Doha are already a hit.
Clown group Traço Cia de Teatro from Santa Catarina will take part in Festiclown Palestina, in October. The event will bring circus shows to Palestinians and Syrians who live in refugee camps in Lebanon.
Lebanese institute will promote long distance classes about geopolitics of the region and Lebanon. Registration is open until March 31st.
The Saudi government plans on holding the event in June. Deputy minister Abdulaziz Almulhem, in charge of international cultural relations, paid a visit to the Arab Brazilian Chamber.
