The Brazil-Arab News Agency signed, last week, an agreement for contents reproduction with the Syrian Arab News Agency, official agency from Syria. This is the fifth agreement ANBA holds with news agencies in the Arab countries. The partnership should ease the flow of information on business opportunities for the two countries.

The good figures reached by the site are the result of an ample journalistic coverage in various sectors like foreign trade, diplomacy, culture and society. Authorities at the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, diplomats, government and businessmen addressed the important part of the news agency for the expansion of relations between Brazil and the Arab countries.

A study ordered by the Ministry of Tourism shows that national arrivals increased by 19.29%, and the international arrivals, by 16.15%. The main destinations in the country are the cities of Fortaleza, Natal, Porto Seguro and Maceió, all in the Northeast of Brazil, and the region of Serra Gaúcha, in the South. For the minister of Tourism, Walfrido Mares Guia, the increase throughout the year should be of 15%.
