The volume of the commodity’s exports to the region dropped 13% from January to October this year compared with the same period of 2010.

Starting next Monday, Brazilian diplomats working in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas will take a course on agribusiness. The purpose is to train them for negotiating in the sector.
The country ranked seventh among the leading Brazilian agribusiness export destinations in October, with US$ 295 mn in sales and a 112% increase. Overall exports grew by 22.6% and reached US$ 8.5 bn.
