After seven months of shrinking export volumes, Brazilian foreign sales of chicken returned to growth last month. The Arab countries imported 155% more in terms of volume when compared to July this year. Brazilian sector exports as a whole totalled US$ 339.34 million and shipments reached 299,150 tonnes, an increase of 12.7% when compared to August last year.
The emirate is considered strategic for entry into the Arab world, according to Ming Chao Liu, manager at Organics Brasil, which is dedicated to the promotion of the sector.
