The Arabian Fest takes place this Sunday (21), simultaneously to the city’s popular handcraft fair, and offers the opportunity to Arab refugees to sell their products, such as typical handcraft items and food. Performances of Arab dances are also in the programme.

The mall Shopping Center 3, in São Paulo, will open a photo exhibition this Thursday (18) to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the country’s founder, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nayhan. The event was organized by the consulate general of the United Arab Emirates in São Paulo.

Natan Barreto will launch his book ‘Um Quintal e Outros Cantos’ (A Backyard and Other Corners, loosely translated) at the Brazil-Lebanon Cultural Center on October 24. In the book, the author evokes his memories and puts them into verses.

Movie theater Zawya and the embassies of Ibero-American countries in the Egyptian capital will be showing films made in the region starting this Wednesday (26), including the Brazilian-made Boi Neon.
