Artists from Paraíba hit the road to show their labyrinths, chintz and embroidery in Brazil and abroad. Products will be shown in public areas in Paris, France. Arabs are targeted.

Brazilian sales to the Middle East and North Africa totalled US$ 1.21 billion in August. Saudi, Egypt and the Emirates were the main destinations. This year, shipments have reached US$ 7.3 billion.

Rio-based brand Alessa already exports to seven Middle Eastern countries, which accounted for 60% of sales of 2011 summer collection ‘The Alchemist.’ The goal is to expand the business in the region.

Company Bombril, whose slogan is "a thousand and one uses," already sells its products to Libya and Lebanon. Now, it wants to increase its exports to the Middle East and also to North Africa.
