Damascus – During his two-day visit to Syria, president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will sign cooperation agreements dealing with culture (exchange programs for artists), tourism (which could include regularly scheduled air traffic between the two country) and sports (Syrian soccer coaches will come to Brazil for study).
As for trade, the two countries are expected to standardize regulations on imports of farm produce, including beef.
