Brasília – The Brazilian government will sign this Friday (28) concession contracts for the airports of Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, Salvador and Florianópolis. With the agreement the government will receive at sight, BRL 1.4 billion (USD 442 million). The auction took place in March.
The contracts’ terms are for 30 years, except for Porto Alegre, which has a 25-year term. The contracts can be extended for five more years. The Fortaleza and Porto Alegre airports will be managed by the German group Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services. Salvador’s airport will be managed by French company Vinci Airports, with Swiss group Zurich International Airport AG managing Florianópolis’s.
