Brasília – The Industrial Entrepreneur Confidence Index (ICEI) had 50.6 points in July. In comparison to June, the result represents a decline by 1.3 point. If compared to March, it went down 3.6 points.
The companies to show confidence were the large ones, with 52.3 points. The others stood below the threshold line of 50 points in a scale that goes from 0 to 100 and that indicates if industrial entrepreneurs feel confident or not. The medium-sized companies stood at 49.6 points, with the small companies registering 47.9 points. The results were made available this Thursday (20), in Brasília, by the National Federation of Industry (CNI).
The survey shows the perception by the entrepreneurs on the current scenario and outlooks for the economy and their companies in the next six months. According to CNI, since July’s result (50.6 points) is practically on the threshold line, it’s not possible to state neither that entrepreneurs are confident nor that they lack confidence for investments.
